Lab Testing

Testing helps us narrow down exactly what is going on. In some situations it helps us rule out more serious conditions that might need more immediate attention. It also takes away the guesswork and allows us to target your treatments to get you the results you want!

No. Lab testing is not required or even necessary for everyone. For each  individual I lay out what the most appropriate tests are and the costs of each. 

Just remember, there are many ways we can help you feel better even if testing isn’t feasible for you.

Yes, testing can be expensive; However, trial and error with supplements can also be expensive. Knowing the cause of your symptoms can help us to streamline treatment. That being said, I understand that cost can sometimes be a barrier for individuals and I will always discuss your treatment options with you during the visit. If the options suggested don’t work for you, let me know. We can also work with your family doctor when testing may be covered through OHIP.
